This man made wetland park boasts 1650 acres and a 2200 foot boardwalk. It's purpose is treating reclaimed water in the city of Orlando and providing a safe haven for Florida wildlife to flourish without threat of man. We encountered over a hundred alligators, otters and a multitude of birds including Roseate Spoonbills, Sandhill Cranes, Herons, and songbirds. Many miles of hiking and biking trails.
